Artists David Brooke and Caroline Ireland welcome you to their studio gallery and workplace, which they will be opening on the first Saturday of every month this year. This month's theme will be drawing in different mediums and subjects, from charcoal, to coloured pencils, graphite, pen and ink, and soft and oil pastels, both as working drawings and finished pieces. David's meticulously painted acrylic images are well known and loved, but it is less well known that he creates beautiful drawings as well in pencil and pen and ink. Caroline's brightly coloured and joyful images in watercolour and pastel are contrasted by the dramatic monochromatic effects of charcoal. Enjoy browsing through her sketchbooks.
