This event is for residents of the Amersham Community Board area (Amersham Chesham Bois Little Chalfont and Coleshill) FSC Amersham Mop End Amersham HP7 0QR This event is free to attend for families and includes activities for you to learn about nature in the Amersham area in fun ways. These activities include sensory and exploratory activities, minibeast hunts, conservation activities, habitat creation, crafts, pond dipping and more. You can drop in or stay for the day. Please dress for being outdoors and bring a packed lunch. To help plan and safely staff the sessions please book your place in advance via our website: www.field-studies-council.org/courses-and-experiences/static-courses/eco-adventures-at-amersham/ The Amersham Nature Champions project aims to increase engagement with the natural world for members of the Amersham community by providing fun and educational sessions based at Amersham Field Centre Mop End. Working in conjunction with Wild Amersham and Sustainable Amersham sessions will get people outside being physically active and learning more about the wildlife and ecosystems found around Amersham and what can be done to increase biodiversity in their local area.
