UFO Tabletop Gaming Night!

7.30pm-11pm. £3 entry (no advanced booking necessary) Hot Shots, 100 Crosswells Road, Oldbury, Birmingham B68 8HH Head down to Birmingham UFO Group this month for a night with a difference! As you may be aware, BUFOG's Chairman Dave Hodrien has created and commercially released the card game UFO Wave. It's a strategic victory point-scoring card game themed entirely on the UFO subject, in which you take control of an alien race and use your advanced powers and craft to perform activities, while avoiding groups of humans who are out to stop you! However, over the years there have been many other board and card games released themed on the subject of aliens and the paranormal. At the meeting you'll have the opportunity to try out UFO Wave (against it's designer if you wish), but there will also be loads of other great UFO and ghost related board and card games to play. Whether you're a novice at gaming or regularly play tabletop games, there's something for everyone, across a wide variety of different game styles, including some co-operative games where you'll work with others to achieve victory instead of play against them. The games will be set up on the various tables of the venue and you can move from table to table throughout the evening, getting actively involved or simply watching if you prefer.
