Tue 8 Jul 25
Start time: 7:30 PM. Make sure you book online at the Website link below.
Yearsley Grove Primary School, Yearsley Grove, Huntington Road, York YO31 9BX
Do you want to find a local choir to join near you? The York Rock Choir is led by local vocal coach Kate Peters. Our choir is made up of many locals who never thought they could sing or hadn't found the right outlet for their secret singing in the car or shower. I don't think any of us expected to make the huge number of great friends we have along the way not just in our own choir but all the local North Yorkshire branches of Rock Choir too! We sing in York every week during term time. You can join the choir by going to rockchoir.com or you can also book a FREE singing taster session to try it beforehand. If you feel you're not ready to join a choir yet, why not visit our performances page at rockchoir.com to see when we're next performing locally in York or North Yorkshire. There you can come along to see what we're all about - local people bringing the local York community together through something as simple as singing in a choir. Here is a quote about our choir - 'The most uplifting, inspirational and empowering choir in the country. Not only are they the biggest choir in the world, they truly do move you in a way I didn't think possible ' - Nick Patrick (7 x Classical Brit Award winning record producer with record sales of 40 million records) Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement...
