The Guided Tour starts at 1:45 pm from the Guildhall Lavenham . After the Tour we move on for a cuppa etc at a lovely tea Room on the ay back to Ipswich - where sadly you will have to pay for what you consume :-)
The guided Tour costs £5 per person - pay the guide as the Tour starts. We will be using car sharing to get there - so, if you can give someone a lift - or need a lift - contact the Ipswich Group Chairman - the sooner the better! Call 01473 274300 e-mail IpswichChairman@suffolkfhs.org. A visit to Lavenham - for a guided Tour of this fine old Town - Meet at Lavenham Guild Hall (post code CO10 9QZ) at 1:45. Following the Tour - we go to a tea Shop on the way back to Ipswich (The Corn Craft Cafe), Monks Eleigh. YOU MUST BOOK YOUR PLACE AS NUMBERS FOR THE TOUR ARE LIMITED. On Wednesday June 4th we have an awayday... being an afternoon guided tour of Lavenham - by Jane Gosling, a very informative and entertaining local guide, The Tour starts at The Lavenham Guildhall at 1:45pm. Which will followed by a refreshment stop in a Café. This tour has limited availability, initially to Society members - but do ask if we still have spaces, and we will use Car Share from The Ipswich area to get there.
