LitOct Events pass is £35 (giving access to ALL EVENTS plus a LitOct goodie bag. (* Not including Literary lunch and listen, and pumpkins for the palooza need to be booked separately.) All events must be booked in advance. Southlands Arts Centre, 75 The Green, West Drayton UB7 7PW Southlands Arts Centre celebrates Literary October, all things literary and story for the whole month of October. See Southlands website for details of all events. There's something for all ages. We start on Saturday 5 October with: Apple Pie Supper This is not just any event, this is Southlands’ event of the year. Join us at 3:30pm for the judging of our apple pie competition. (Entry forms will be available on Southlands website - anyone can enter, let's make this a real community event) Judging is by Paul McGarrity from Cranford Park. A prize will be awarded for the best pie. After this, we’ll be selling pies and slices of pie. Just before five o’clock, the winners and runners up the children’s categories of the Southlands creative writing competition will be announced, prizes will be awarded and then we’ll hear readings of those entries. Lastly, at just after six o’clock the winners of the adult competition categories will be announced, prizes will be awarded and then we’ll hear readings of those entries.
