Tuesday 24 September at 7.15 - 9.15 p.m. Portsmouth Academy, St Mary's Road, Portsmouth PO1 5PF Open Rehearsal Tuesday 24 September 2024 Portsmouth Academy, St Marys Rd, Fratton, Portsmouth PO1 5PF at 7.15 - 9.15 p.m. PCU has space for a few new members, and we have an Open Rehearsal on the 24th of September. Not sure what to expect? If you enjoy singing and want to experience the thrill of singing in a large choir. Come along to a rehearsal. Our first concert this season, is the The Creation by Haydn which includes one of the most famous moments of Haydn’s choral writing, the chorus says, “and there was light.” This is followed in December by our annual Christmas Concert which this year features the very wonderful Castle Primary School Choir. We last performed with these young people in June 2023 when they joined us singing The Traveller by Alec Roth with confidence and great enthusiasm.
