Heritage Open Day: A fun trail designed for children - learn about the beehives at the Cathedral, and follow the 'Bee-Roads' as you discover the numerous saints who are connected with bees! The Cathedral has its own collection of beehives, and its own team of bees! On this 'Bee-Roads' trail learn about the paths that our bees take to-and-from their hives to pollinate our flowers. You will also about the life of the bee, and how their journeys can relate to our faith. Created by God, with a unique role in His Creation, bees are incredibly important for our ecosystem, biodiversity, and the world God created for us to live in.
