Upper Deal History Tour

Sun 15 Sep:14:00; Free Entry. St. Leonard's Church, Rectory Road, Deal CT14 9LU Heritage Open Day: The tour will delve into the history of the area from the 16th century. Upper Deal was the original village of Deal, in the Domesday Book as Addelam, and the church has some Anglo-Saxon artifacts. St Leonard’s was the parish church until 1852 when St Georges and St Andrews became parishes in their own right. The area is full of interesting buildings dating to 16th / 17th century.
