Deal Maritime & Local History Museum, 22 St. Georges Road, Deal CT14 6BA Heritage Open Day: The Deal museum portrays the changing history of Deal, Walmer and the surrounding area, and is packed to the rafters with fascinating glimpses into the past with special events happening across the weekends. Over the Heritage Open Day weekends we will be running a photographic exhibition, 'Deal Buildings of the Past' using rarely or never before seen photographs from our archive. David Parker, MD of Canterbury Auctions will be at the museum on the 7th September, 1pm-4pm offering free valuations to anyone who brings in their treasures!
