Printmaking and Paper Heritage Day
Sat 14 Sep 24
Sat 14 Sep:10am-3pm; Free Entry.
Exeter Phoenix, Bradninch Place, Gandy Street, Exeter EX4 3LS
Heritage Open Day: Printmaking is one of the oldest forms of reproduction of text and image, and some of our presses are over 100 years old. Have a go at various techniques using a range of papers to see how traditional processes are being used in contemporary ways. Drop into one of our two professional artists' studios and learn about the rich heritage of printmaking and papermaking as a form of communication and reproduction. Meet our artists, hear about our work in the community and find out how you can learn more about printmaking and papermaking and get involved in our exciting heritage project. We will be holding a fundraising sale of prints to raise money for a young persons' bursary. For more information: https://www.doubleelephant.org...
