Bob Mills left school early to join the merchant navy – but quit just nine days into his training. He drifted around London for a while, working valet in King’s Cross, until he discovered the alternative comedy scene, after paying £1 to see Mark Thomas and Mark Steel at the Market Tavern in Islington in 1983. In 1985 he burst onto the London comedy scene himself, turning alternative comedy on its head. Bob is one of the most sought after acts on the comedy circuit today. He has performed at all the major comedy clubs across the UK and abroad. His unique style and talented years of experience leave audiences wanting more. Bob has a list of TV credits to his name but will be familiar as the host from ITV’s long running daytime show ‘Win, Lose or Draw’. He became best known for his off the wall late-night cult show ‘In Bed with Medinner’, in which he commented on documentary video footage. It became a huge hit with audiences. On radio, Bob can be heard regularly on his own show on Talk Sport. Television credits include: Win, Lose or Draw (ITV), Games World (Sky1), In Bed with Medinner (ITV), The Show (ITV), There’s Only One Brian Moore (LWT), Dial Midnight (LWT), Not a Lot of People Know That (BBC1) and radio credits include: Radio 5’s Fighting Talk as well as Radio 4’s News Review plus Talk Sport, Host of Tragedy and Time Talk Radio.
