Meeting 10am at Theddlethorpe Village Hall, returning back at about midday.
Free, just turn up and join the group, everyone welcome. Theddlethorpe Village Hall, Silver Street, Theddlethorpe LN12 1PA A history walk and talk meeting at Theddlethorpe Village Hall at 10am, going on a circular walk to Stain Hill. We'll be talking about this ancient site of the long deserted village of Stain, which was built on an island of glacial till clay. The remains of the moat from the medieval manor house, and the site of the old lost Church of St John the Baptist, can still be detected in the landscape.
