We are delighted to welcome back Ollie Robertson who has taught several open workshops with EncoreEast. Ollie started his dance training at DanceEast CAT Scheme in Ipswich, and went on gain to his First Class Honours Degree at Northern School of Contemporary Dance in Leeds gaining a distinction in his Masters through London Contemporary Dance School. He has worked as both dancer and teacher with James Wilton Dance Company. Taking inspirations from martial art styles and gymnastic influences whilst maintaining a strong contemporary technique, Ollie’s workshops include warm up, leading into short phrases and ways of finding reach and quality in moving into, across and out of the floor. His teaching style is kind and considerate, and the most frequent response from participants is surprise at what they can do, and how much they enjoyed the session.
