Lino Print Workshop at Attenborough Nature Reserve

About the event Marcus is a graphic designer, illustrator and print maker who is able to capture striking and colourful designs in his art. The workshop is designed to get you excited about the wonderful medium of lino printing in a small group setting. You will have the opportunity to capture something meaningful in your prints – your favourite wildlife, a scenic landscape view, even a family pet? Feel free to bring along some of your own reference images or alternatively use one that Marcus provides. The workshop will begin with sketching your chosen designs before outlining it onto the lino and carving. You will have the opportunity to print using a variety of colours and types of paper to create unique and captivating results. All equipment, including lino plates, carving tools and ink, will be provided. Participants of all abilities are welcome and no previous experience is required. The workshop is based in the Conference Room, with beautiful views across the water and includes lunch and refreshments . All our food is freshly made on the premises using locally sourced ingredients where possible. Our cakes and sweet treats are supplied by two independent, local businesses – Beeston Brownies and Homemade Café. With 48-hours' notice, we can cater for most dietary and allergy needs.
