BYOB Crail Community Hall St Andrews Road KY10 3UH A Scotland-based group with roots in Scottish and American tradition. Michael Wright, Callum Morton, and Jeri Foreman perform traditional and contemporary renditions of Bluegrass and Old-time repertoire. With roots in Americana and acoustic string-band music, they weave musical improvisation with their unique blend of vocal harmonies and energetic accompaniment. The group was dubbed by an enthusiastic local, upon hearing them jam in the Stewart Memorial Fountain in Kelvingrove Park, Glasgow. The Fountaineers transition seamlessly between traditional American folk music styles, with an ease that captures the joy of playing live music. The Fountaineers perform classic Bluegrass and old-time repertoire and formed during the first lockdown in 2020.
