An Introduction to Jesmonite: The Trio Workshop

£60.00 per person Carlton Towers, High Street, Carlton DN14 9LZ Whether you are looking to expand upon existing skills or try something new - This workshop is a great experience for those interested in Jesmonite. Join us in the Stables Tearoom, where you will be offered expert tuition by Gabi from Objectify. Then once the workshop has been completed, you can enjoy a delicious cream tea. “In this workshop you will be taught step by step how to create three items: a mini terrazzo pot, a marbled coaster and a ring dish. With demonstrations of three different techniques - Terrazzo, Marbling and Colour Blocking.” - Gabi What is Jesmonite? Jesmonite is a non-toxic, eco-friendly, water-based resin used to create many kinds of decorative homeware, art, furniture and more. Naturally Jesmonite has an off white colour to it, so coloured pigments are used to give tone which is then poured into silicone moulds, where it cures and becomes a beautifully, unique item.
