February is a great time for spotting our feathered garden friends getting ready to build their nests. Come along and learn to use a hammer and nails to construct your own bird box from pre-cut wooden pieces. Learn what type of box different birds are attracted to, where to put your bird box and how to look after it. Suitable for children aged 7+ with an accompanying adult who is able to assist them with the activity. No younger siblings on this one please. The picnic area and nature reserve will be available for participants to picnic and explore until 2pm, please bring wellies and waterproofs if you plan to do this! The workshop will take place outside if weather permits, or indoors in case of poor weather, please come dressed for the weather. Please note the centre is accessible by public transport with regular buses (including connections to Didcot Parkway railway station) serving Milton Park, a few minutes walk from the centre.
