Drop-in Royal College of Physicians Museum, 11 St Andrews Place London NW1 4LE The Royal College of Physicians (RCP) Museum are delighted to be hosting this year's 'Up Close and Medical' event for London Museums of Health and Medicine. Join a range of Museums from across London at this free half-term event to discover the more surprising side of London's medical history. Handle objects from centuries past and get involved in activities for all ages. Free, drop-in, open to all. With the RCP Museum team learn the stories behind the everyday, essential tools of physicians over time, from early stethoscopes to ceramic spittoons. You can also try your hand at diagnosing historic diseases and find out how physicians in the past would have treated these ailments. Plus inspired by our new Healing words exhibition see if you can guess ingredients once used in medical treatments just by their scent!
