Community consultation in Inchberry Hall by KRE [Koehler] who plan developing a Blackhills Wind Turbine power site with six 200m high (offshore size) and a Battery energy storage system, 3 miles South of Elgin on the hillside East of the Elgin - Rothes A941 road in Rothes Glen. Because of its size and close location, adjacent to the massive proposal for Teindland Forest turbines, these are within the Upland Moorland and Forestry LCT within the Moray and Nairn Landscape Character assessment. All are encouraged to attend this Free drop-in public event to voice opinions on this unnecessary congested clutter of wind turbines also on Teindland hill. Exhibition boards will be displayed and feedback comments taken by the development team, who will answer any questions. There is no NEED for this Blackhills Wind Turbine power generation site on the Grid with six 200m high (offshore size) and a Battery energy storage system. Because of its size, this is a Section 36 application to be determined by Scottish Ministers with Moray Council as a statutory consultee. Feedback for this round 2 will be open until Friday, 28 February 2025...
