Oxenhope Straw Race

£25 per person for early bird, first 50 teams.
£30 per person for standard, next 200 teams.
£35 per person for late entry, last 50 spaces.

Event starts at 12 noon. Start: Wagon and Horses Public House, Hebden Bridge Road, Oxenhope, Keighley BD22 9QE Teams of two (or larger combined teams) are timed running the race in fancy dress, carrying a bale of straw (15-20 kgs), visiting six pubs drinking a pint at each (except the last one). The route is approximately 2.5 miles, starting at the Waggon and Horses, with stops at The Bay Horse, the former “Idiot Hut” social club, onto The Lamb, then the former Shoulder of Mutton with an uphill push to the finish at the Dog and Gun.
