There are a variety of tickets available ranging in price from £15 - £60.
Children 17 and under go free* to the races when accompanied by an adult (*exclusions may apply). Children do not require a ticket in advance and a free ticket will be issued on the day.

History of the race This race day at Sedgefield is one of the most prestigious meetings of the year and features the iconic Durham National. A fixture at Sedgefield since 1955, The Durham National is the biggest race to take place at the racecourse. The race happens every October and is run over three and three-quarter miles. Food & Drink Save yourself the dishes and dine with us in our race day restaurant with a delicious selection of our finest food. Treat yourself to some fresh fish and chips from our on-site fish and chip takeaway or simply grab a drink from the bar and sit back and indulge in the thrills of the racing. Whatever you may fancy there is an option for everyone. Entertainment Durham National isn't just racing action and fashion fun. We also add in helpings of exciting entertainment, and delicious food and drink. We still need to confirm our entertainment for 2024, but it has previously featured show-stopping Children’s entertainment from walking superheroes to interactive shows and singalongs.
