Set in the tranquil hospice grounds, the afternoon includes tea, cake, music and poetry before we release beautiful butterflies, each a symbol of a loved one or a wish sent out into the world. During the ‘Names of Remembrance’ section of the event we will read aloud the names of those we are remembering, creating a shared moment of connection, shortly before we release the butterflies.
