The Jigantics are a four piece band from the Gloucestershire area. The line-up is Mark Cole, vocals, squeezeboxes, mandolin, harmonica, mandocello. Keith Thompson, guitars, harmonica, mandolin and vocals. Sarah Kelly Ukulele, flute, vocals. Martin Fitzgibbon drums, vocals, percussion, bass. The band are multi instrumentalists who frequently swop instruments on stage throughout their set and share lead vocals, as well as four part harmonies. The Jigantics gig extensively throughout the UK and Europe. This year they are appearing in Germany, Holland, France and in October 17 were part of the five day festival, Costa Del Folk in Portugal. At a recent festival The Daily Telegraph described them as a roots driven country band who were a high class, highlight act. The Jigantics have released three albums. Daisy Roots in 2013 followed by Seconds Out in 2016. Their third, Are we There Yet was released on July 1st 2017. The title is a reference to the bands efforts to constantly push the musical barriers and explore the opportunities that Americana and Roots music offer. As well as mainstream country the band reference Folk, Cajun, Zydeco, and Blues as their major influences...
