Sat 14 June (11.30-4). Combined adm £7, Children free. Cakes, coffee & tea at 35 Ellesmere Rd, hot dogs at 20 Stafford Rd and tea & biscuits at 11 Westminster Rd. Times:11:30 to 16:00. Ellesmere Park Gardens, Manchester M30 9FE The group consists of 3 diverse suburban gardens in adjoining streets in Eccles. 35 Ellesmere Road is a cottage style garden with walkways, palisade, greenhouse and raised beds with vegetables and herbs. Lawns with box hedges. Mature fruit and other trees. At 11 Westminster Road there is a pretty front garden with topiary chickens, well-stocked with perennials, mature trees, and box hedging. The garden is divided by a trellis and rose arch which separates the flower beds and lawn from the fruit growing area, and there are a large number of fuchsias grown in pots. Finally at 20 Stafford Road the garden features mature trees and shrubs alongside many recent additions.
