The exhibition runs from 12 May to 8 June 2025 and forms part of the official programme of London Craft Week 2025. With a unique artistic voice, Emanuele Sari merges the rich Italian tradition of mosaic art with a bold, contemporary visual language inspired by pop art and street art. His vibrant works, crafted with Venetian glass, smalti, marble, and shimmering gold, silver, and copper accents, depict iconic characters from comic books and the world of entertainment — from Lupin to Joker, Klimt to Modigliani, David Bowie to Freddie Mercury. Blending playfulness with depth, Sari transforms an ancient craft into a dynamic medium for exploring today’s cultural landscape. His mosaics, while visually striking and ironic, offer layered interpretations and invite reflection on the contradictions of modern society.
