Summer Afternoon Brass Band Concert

PR25 4XA A super Sunday afternoon Brass Band Concert at St Ambrose Church by Lostock Hall Memorial Band. Under the baton of Musical Director and star cornet soloist John Atkinson, the band is in great form and performs at many local events throughout the year. It's a brilliant way to spend a Sunday afternoon and we look forward to welcoming friends old and new for a brilliant afternoon of thrilling music. Lostock Hall Band prides itself in educating young people in brass playing and also has a thriving junior training band, with many juniors eventually joining the main band. The Concert is in aid of St Ambrose Church Funds and Lostock Hall Band. If your child would love to start playing a musical instrument do bring them to the concert to enjoy the superb sound of brass and percussion instruments and perhaps join the junior training band. Members of all ages and abilities are thriving with the help of new Musical Director Olivia Hurst and beginners are welcomed as well as more experienced players. The training band offers tuition in either brass or percussion and instruments can be provided as well as sheet music and learning materials.
