Vivaldi 'Gloria' Concert

Saturday May 17th 4pm-5pm. Free of charge for the audience. St Leonards Church, Marshalls Brow, Penwortham, Preston. PR1 9JA A super Saturday afternoon concert for all music lovers who prefer to sit in the audience and enjoy glorious music rather than sing it themselves. The Rawstorne Singers will be joined by over 20 guest singers who have spent the day rehearsing with the choir ready to perform Vivaldi's 'Gloria' for a concert performance in the afternoon. The 'Gloria' is perhaps Vivaldi's most famous sacred and uplifting choral work, a piece of high drama and a much loved joyful hymn of praise. This performance is free of charge for the audience (donations welcome) and we'd love to welcome people of all ages to come and hear the 'Gloria'. No tickets are necessary so please tell your friends and family and bring them along too!
