£6.50 per child 1pm to 2.30pm Bourne Hall Museum Kids Club, Spring Street, Ewell KT17 1UF In this talk with slides, by Ana McLaughlin who has written many books on folk law, we discover the difference between myths and legends, and how legends have sprung up around real people and events. We talk about quests and voyages and legendary lands, and about figures like King Arthur and Boudicca. We also look at the legend of Filey Brigg, is a place which combines inspiration from the landscape and its historical discoveries with dragons and cake! What’s not to like?
