The Wool Boat is open in Parbold West Lancashire on Sat and Sunday

We’re open 11-4 both on days, free. Leeds and Liverpool canal at Parbold in West Lancashire moored opposite the Old Windmill art gallery WN8 7NW The Wool Boat is back in Parbold this weekend. The Wool Boat is a unique floating Wool and Yarn shop based on a canal narrow boat. She is, as far as we know, the world’s only floating Knitting and Crochet shop. She carries a wide range of yarns from various manufactures, from basic acrylic yarn through Acrylic and Wool mixes to pure wools, in weights from lace to Aran. We also have on board a good selection of patterns and accessories from needles to buttons. All knitters and crocheter’s of whatever ability are welcomed aboard by Carole the knitter and Capt Col, the captain and stockman. We will be moored and open from 11-4 on The Leeds and Liverpool canal at Parbold, on the 26th and 27th of July 2025.
