Trio Paradis Café Concert: A Midsummer Night’s Dream

Entrance by donation St John’s Church Hall Keynsham BS31 2BL Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan - piano, Ruth O’Shea - violin & Linda Stocks - cello) play a Café Concert on the last Friday of each month (Jan-Nov) at 1pm at St John's Church Hall: informal music events in the community, with a pop-up café open from 12.15pm where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes, and enjoy live music. The music for May's concert is inspired by summer and dreams, and includes an arrangement of Dream Children by Elgar, ‘Jacob’s Dream’, the second movement of Trio Hob XV:31 in Eb by Haydn, and music by Mendelssohn, Lili Boulanger, Turina and Rachmaninov. Concerts last c45mins and entrance is by pay-what-you-feel donation. An RSVP via our website www.trioparadis.com is very much appreciated though not essential.
