Trio Paradis Café Concert: A Midsummer Night’s Dream

Entrance by donation St Michael’s Without, Broad Street, Bath BA1 5LJ Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan - piano, Ruth O’Shea - violin & Linda Stocks - cello) play a Café Concert at St Michael’s at 3.30pm on the last Friday of each month: informal music events which are 'pay-what-you-feel' via a retiring collection, to ensure all can attend. The music for May’s concert is inspired by summer and dreams, and includes an arrangement of Dream Children by Elgar, ‘Jacob’s Dream’, the Allegro from Trio in Eb Hob XV:31 by Haydn, and music by Mendelssohn, Turina and Rachmaninov. Concerts last c45mins. Refreshments - tea, coffee & cakes - are available in the church café before the concert. An RSVP via our website is very much appreciated, though not essential.
