Trio Paradis Café Concert: A Midsummer Night’s Dream

Entrance by donation The David Hall, South Petherton TA13 5AA Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan - piano, Ruth O’Shea - violin & Linda Stocks - cello) play a Café Concert on the first Wednesday morning of each month at 11am at The David Hall: informal music events with a pop-up café half an hour open before the concert where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes, and enjoy live music. The music for May's concert is inspired by summer and dreams, and includes an arrangement of Dream Children by Elgar, ‘Jacob’s Dream’, the second movement of Trio Hob XV:31 in Eb by Haydn, and music by Mendelssohn, Lili Boulanger, Turina and Rachmaninov. Concerts last c45m. Entrance - or rather exit! - is by donation, with a retiring collection. An RSVP via our website is much appreciated but not essential.
