Trio Paradis Café Concert: A Midsummer Night’s Dream

Entrance by donation Christ Church Frome BA11 1EH Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan - piano, Ruth O’Shea - violin & Linda Stocks - cello) play a Café Concert on the first Thursday of each month (Feb-Dec) at 1.15pm at Christ Church: informal feel-good music events with a pop-up café open from c12.45pm where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes and listen to live music. The music for May's concert is inspired by summer and dreams, and includes an arrangement of Dream Children by Elgar, ‘Jacob’s Dream’, the second movement of Trio Hob XV:31 in Eb by Haydn, and music by Mendelssohn, Lili Boulanger, Turina and Rachmaninov.
