Forget dog-eared pages and join the Florence Nightingale Museum for May Half-Term and get the chance to create a ‘purrrr-fect’ companion to any book! When you drop-in between 24th May – 1st June during our normal opening hours you can craft your own cat bookmark. While you’re here be sure to explore the museum to meet some of Miss Nightingale’s other peculiar pets and follow our family trails to learn all sorts of interesting historical facts. You can also delve into the world of therapy animals in our temporary, Caring Companions Exhibition space and even enter a world of cuddly cats and huge rats in our Victorian Mansion VR Simulation. In the words of Florence Nightingale “A small pet is often an excellent companion…” This is all included in every general admission ticket!
