This month’s focus will be The Soyer Stove! This object may look plain from the outside, but it saved countless lives during the Crimean War and revolutionized how we think about health to this day! Hear the story of Alexis Soyer, a French chef who worked with Florence Nightingale and aided her at Scutari Hospital. Discover how he used food to boost moral and changed how people viewed nutrition! Talks will be given by a member of the Florence Nightingale Team and are included in all general admission tickets!...
