Hello Heritage at Christ Church Coalville

Christ Church 28 London Road Coalville LE67 3JA Our Hello Heritage event, held within the church which was built between 1836-1838 and includes mining displays, newly uncovered information about James Stephenson (who's memorial stone is in the church) - elder brother of George Stephenson and very involved in the development of steam engines. The event also combines Ride and Stride when many Leicestershire churches will be open. This event is being supported by the Coalville Heritage Society, and we hope to include a penny farthing, costumed guides and lots of historical information! Light refreshments will be available...
