Meet the Maker - Photographer Brian Eyler
Fri 11 Jul 25
Brian will be on site between 10:00 and 16:00 and it is free to call in and look at his stall.
Land of Oak & Iron Heritage Centre, Spa Well Road, Winlaton Mill, Blaydon on Tyne, Tyne & Wear NE21 6RU
Come and meet photographer Brian Eyler at the Heritage Centre for another of our pop-up ‘Meet the Maker’ events. Brian Eyler is a professional landscape photographer originally from San Diego, now living in Newcastle Upon Tyne. After moving in 2019 to join his wife, Brian shifted gears when the COVID-19 pandemic paused his video production business. Instead of stepping back, he returned to photography—his passion for over a decade. During this time, he drew inspiration from classical oil painters like Albert Bierstadt and Thomas Kinkade, whose romantic use of light and atmosphere influenced his evolving style. Brian’s work blends the realism of photography with the emotive qualities of fine art, often using panoramic formats to convey immersive, expansive scenes. His images reflect cinematic technique and painterly composition, exploring themes of emotion, memory, and quiet reflection. Each image he creates is a window into a world shaped by natural beauty and personal perspective. You can catch Brian selling his stunning photography at the pop-up stall at Land of Oak & Iron Heritage Centre on 11th July. Brian enjoys connecting with local communities and sharing his passion for visual storytelling – so please come along for a chat and help to support North East creatives. We’re hoping to host an exhibition of Brian’s work next year in our ‘Inside Out Gallery’ too! Brian is also at Tynemouth Market and the Quayside most weekends...
