On Tuesday 8th July, from 2pm-4.30pm, Care UK’s Glastonbury Court, on Glastonbury Road, is inviting local people to celebrate summer in style with a fun-filled afternoon of shopping, music and food. Residents, relatives, and guests are invited to browse and shop at a beautiful pop-up jewellery stall, enjoy live entertainment by local singer Brian Shaw, and stroll through home home’s stunning gardens in preparation for Bury in Bloom. Visitors can also enter the raffle for a chance to win exciting prizes and explore the residents' very own flower show. Additionally, a delicious BBQ will be available, expertly prepared by talented Head Chef, David Brand, along with refreshing sweet treats from the ice cream truck. Ana Mihai, Home Manager at Glastonbury Court, said: “We’re really looking forward to opening our doors and welcoming the local community to join us for our summer fete! “Building strong connections with our neighbours is incredibly important to us here at Glastonbury Court, and a celebration like this is the perfect way to bring everyone together.
