Meet the Maker Market

The event runs between 10:00 and 16:00 and is free to attend Land of Oak & Iron Heritage Centre, Spa Well Road, Winlaton Mill, Blaydon on Tyne, Tyne & Wear NE21 6RU Land of Oak & Iron are excited to host our Summer Meet the Maker Market, bringing together local artists and creatives! We love hosting our little Meet the Maker Markets, they’re great events for buying hand crafted items, getting inspired and meeting local makers and artists! We have some amazing artists and makers lined up: Shore & Tide with beautiful sea glass art and jewellery, Valentina Short with her landscape paintings, fab’ textile creations from Cloth Dolly Crafts, Tony Richardson with his incredible Celtic inspired metalworks, and the Queen of Green with her stall full of specialist house plants and unique plant pots. All of these incredible makers are bringing a wide range of products from sea glass and textiles, to original paintings and plants. No need to book, free to attend! Our café will be open for breakfasts, lunch, snacks and a range of hot and cold drinks to enjoy.
