16 & 17 August – 10am to 5pm, £16 for Adults and £11 for kids when pre-booked Chiltern Open Air Museum, Newland Park, Gorelands Lane, Chalfont St Giles HP8 4AB A unique opportunity to learn about the less savoury aspects of Victorian life in a fun, family-friendly environment with the ‘Ragged Victorians'! Meet costumed re-enactors in our buildings and around the Museum site. Look out for shady characters including the rat catcher and his rats; street urchins, rogues and vagabonds. This living history event is great for kids who are learning about the Victorians at school. Visit our traditional schoolroom and heritage farmyard.
