The Wool Boat is back in Burscough, West Lancashire this weekend.

We will be moored and open from 11-4 on The Leeds and Liverpool canal near Burscough Wharf, on the 12th and 13th of July 2025.
We’re open 11-4. Free to come along. Leeds and Liverpool canal, Burscough Wharf, Liverpool Road, Burscough, Lancashire L40 5UU The Wool Boat is coming is back to Burscough this weekend. The Wool Boat is a unique floating Wool and Yarn shop based on a canal narrow boat. She is, as far as we know, the worlds only floating Knitting and Crochet shop. She carries a wide range of yarns from various manufactures, from basic acrylic yarn through Acrylic and Wool mixes to pure wools, in weights from lace to Aran. We also have on board a good selection of patterns and accessories from needles to buttons. All knitters and crocheter’s of whatever ability are welcome to come and visit Carole the knitter and Capt Col, the captain and stockman.
