£35.00 Pen yr Old Wen LL57 3LZ ? Route Description: Our adventure begins somewhere over the A5 where we’ll set off towards Pen yr Ole Wen (978m), tackling a steep and challenging ascent. From the summit, we’ll be rewarded with stunning views over Cwm Idwal and Tryfan before continuing along the ridge towards Carnedd Dafydd (1,044m), where the vastness and beauty of the Carneddau range unfolds before us. Next, we’ll traverse the ridge to Carnedd Llewelyn (1,064m), the highest peak of the Carneddau and the second-highest mountain in Wales. The views from the summit are nothing short of spectacular, stretching across the Glyders, Snowdon, and even the coastline on a clear day. We’ll complete the circular route by descending via a gentler path that brings us back to our starting point. ?
