Cambridgeshire care home invites community to summer celebration
Sat 2 Aug 25
Saturday 2nd August from 2pm to 4pm
Field Lodge Care Home, London Road, Hemingford Grey, St. Ives PE27 5EX
A care home in St Ives is opening its doors for a fun-filled fair fuelled by music, animals and games. On Saturday 2nd August from 2pm to 4pm, Care UK’s Field Lodge, on London Road, will be hosting an afternoon packed with live entertainment, farm animals and fun activities for all ages. Visitors can look forward to toe-tapping vintage tunes from The Swingettes and will be able to meet the adorable lambs and gentle goats brought along by Monach Memories. There will also be plenty of classic fair favourites like a tombola and raffle, with fantastic prizes up for grabs. Linda Martinez, Home Manager at Field Lodge, said: “We’re excited to welcome the local community to our summer fair. It’s the perfect way to enjoy a sunny afternoon together, with something to delight visitors of all ages. “We hope to see lots of families, friends and neighbours come along to share in the fun.” Field Lodge is a modern, purpose-built care home providing full-time residential, nursing and dementia care, as well as short-term respite care. Designed to enable residents to live enjoyable and fulfilling lives, the care home has a choice of lounges and dining rooms, along with facilities such as a pub, cinema and hair and beauty salon.
