For the third year running, Solent Sounds Chorus is offering a series of 6 FREE singing lessons, for women's voices, starting in September. You will learn the FUNdamentals of acappella harmony and, before long, you will be experiencing the magic of singing with other voices around you. No experience is necessary to enjoy this fun, informal course; neither is the ability to read music, nor to sing solo at any point! All learning resources will be included free of charge. By the end of the course, you will be confident enough to sing a song, in harmony, along with Solent Sounds Chorus in a mini-performance!
In the words of the late, great Dr Michael Mosley, singing in a choir can enhance your mood, boost your immune system and regulate your blood pressure. Studies have shown many additional advantages, which may lead to the release of lots of lovely feel-good hormones! What’s not to like?
The course will run on Tuesdays, between 7pm and 8.15pm, from 15th September to 20th October inclusive, at the Methodist Church Hall, Kings Road, Fareham PO16 ONU.
