Wed 18 Jun 25
Start time: 1:00 PM. Make sure you book online at the Website link below.
Wetherby Town Hall, Market Place, Wetherby LS22 6NE
If you are wanting to find a choir you'll like singing with us in the Rock Choir. Your friendly local Wetherby choir is run by vocal teacher Florence Glen. We support a number of local good causes, raising money and awareness around West Yorkshire and as a choir we also sing together with other Rock Choir singers in the nearby choirs to support national charities such as Missing People and both Comic and Sport Relief with flash mobs, fundraising events and concerts. Joining a choir can be a brave step to take for some and in light of this Florence tries to make it as easy as possible for you by giving the opportunity to have a FREE taster session and then to have a chat with her about singing. Rock Choir is the leading group in community singing. We launched our FREE choir taster sessions back in 2005 and have 20 years experience giving members of the public who are new to group singing the chance to try joining a choir without the need to audition or read music. Here is a quote about our choir - 'If you want to smile and sing for an hour and a half, go to Rock Choir. Getting on stage is so rewarding and when your 6 year-old says how proud he is of his mummy, then it's worth every moment!' - Caroline Jopling (Rock Choir Member) Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement...
