GLOW: AN EVENING WALK TO WHITSTABLE A quick intro Join us for a relaxed evening walk along the beautiful Kent coast, setting off from Seasalter and making our way to Whitstable just in time to catch the sunset. This scenic route follows the shoreline, offering open skies, sea breezes, and that perfect golden-hour glow. At just under 6 miles, the walk is an easy pace and suitable for most. Come along for the fresh air, great views, and good company. The Route ? We’ll follow the coastal path along the edge of the Swale Estuary, a low-tide landscape of salt marsh, sea lavender, and wide skies. The route is flat, gentle, and full of natural charm. After a short pause to enjoy the view, we’ll begin our return to Seasalter as twilight sets in. A Walk Through Time ? Seasalter and Whitstable are rich in coastal history. Whitstable, by contrast, grew from a humble fishing village into a bustling seaside town known for its native oysters, with roots reaching back to Roman times. The footpath we take between them is more than just a scenic route — it’s a thread through centuries of coastal life, shaped by tides, trade, and tradition.
