Celebrating the power of film music, blending iconic melodies and epic compositions, this concert promises to capture the essence of cinematic storytelling. Featuring the music of legendary composers such as John Williams, Hans Zimmer, Stephen Schwartz, and more, this spectacular event showcases unforgettable pieces from Star Wars, Interstellar, Wicked, Harry Potter, Jurassic Park, Les Misérables, Pirates of the Caribbean, Indiana Jones, Inception, Gladiator, Game of Thrones, The Greatest Showman, How to Train your Dragon and many more. About Docklands Sinfonia A diverse, dynamic and versatile orchestra working with composers, producers and promoters across film, rock & pop, and classical music, Docklands Sinfonia formed in 2009 and has since enjoyed great success with performances for Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace and with Grammy Award winner Imogen Heap at the Royal Albert Hall. They have appeared on BBC Radio 3 and BBC1 and performed the first-ever concerts in the Tower Bridge's Bascule Chamber under the Thames. Docklands Sinfonia has also performed with world-renowned classical artists such as Alison Balsom, Jennifer Pike, Leonard Elschenbroich and Elin Manahan-Thomas as well as the English National Ballet and artists from the Royal Opera House. They have also recorded albums for leading artists such as Olly Murs, Katie Melua and toured the UK with rock band Hawkwind.
