CPRE Sussex Countryside Day

The CPRE Sussex Countryside Day takes place from 10am to 4pm on Saturday, 6 September.

Entrance is free with donations encouraged for events and a small charge for some children’s activities. Knepp Estate, Dial Post RH13 8NQ Join CPRE Sussex for a celebration of the countryside at the Knepp Estate on Saturday, 6 September. Take a walk around the home of Sussex rewilding, listen to expert talks and learn more about the work taking place to shape a greener future for Sussex. Our line up of expert speakers includes representatives from Sussex Wildlife Trust, Weald to Waves, Sussex Underwater and West Sussex Rivers Trust. There will also be plenty for younger nature lovers to enjoy. Fun activities for the kids include fire lighting with marshmallows, lantern making, clay creature creation and leaf printing. There will also be the chance to make model houses and anthotypes with Brighton University. Plus, we will be joined by the community organisations working to protect, promote and enhance the Sussex countryside. Hosted at the world-renowned Knepp Estate, this event is a chance to celebrate the Sussex countryside, its landscapes, ecology and natural beauty.
