No need to book, just turn up for a great evening between 6pm – 9pm (last food order 8.30pm).

There is no fee to enter however refreshments must be purchased. Join us for an entertaining evening of fantastic live music and food on the last Friday of every month. This month’s local performers Red Kites Jazz are a quintet playing a range of easy melodic jazz from the Great American Songbook into the modern era. The band started in Rowlands Gill in 2022, and comprises tenor saxophone, guitar, piano, bass and drums. “We love to share our enjoyment of jazz with various audiences, and perform regularly at The Staiths café and Gibside.” Café: Our Chef will be rustling up some delicious food for the evening, with our Café serving hot and cold drinks, with sweet treats available to purchase and enjoy alongside the live music.
